About the DS3800HDDD1C1D
The DS3800HDDD1C1D diagnostic display board is a printed circuit board/PCB produced by GE. It is designed to be part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series, which is a gas and steam turbine control system made up of integrated microprocessors.
The DS3800HDDD1C1D has an operator panel and a connected PCB. The operator panel connects to the PCB by four flat head screws using spacers, which allow the panel to float above the PCB and gives access to some components via the gap between panel and PCB. These include a multipin connector on the left side of the board, and two thumb-wheel potentiometers (labeled M58 and L58.) The panel has cut-throughs to allow other LED and switch components to be accessed; these are extensively labeled.
There are four LEDs placed on the left side of the DS3800HDDD1C1D, three amber, and one red. These are labeled on the front panel from top to bottom as "Drive ok," "Datalink active," "Ready to run," and "Fault." Below these is one plunge switch. This is labeled "Reset."
In the middle of the DS3800HDDD1C1D are three LED strips. These LEDs are red. These are individually numbered and labeled with their uses. The three strips are labeled Motor Faults (1-10,) Converter Faults (11-15,) and Alarms (16-20.)
On the right side of the DS3800HDDD1C1D are three more LED strips. These LEDs are amber. These are individually numbered and labeled with their uses. The three strips are labeled Drive Status (21-25,) Reference Selection (26-35,) and Status (36-40.)
The DS3800HDDD1C1D has multiple integrated circuits and resistors. The DS3800HDDD1C1D has been marked A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J on its lower edge for alignment.
Technical support for the DS3800HDDD1C1D was provided by GE. Please refer to the original manufacturer publication manual for installation guidelines.
