About the DS3800HFXB1L1H
DS3800HFXB1L1H Expander Board Module GE Mark IV GE
The DS3800HFXB1L1H is a General Electric printed circuit board that has been fabricated as a component for the GE Mark IV system. The MKIV was the first gas/steam turbine management system in the Speedtronic line to offer fault-tolerant control with TMR architecture.
The DS3800HFXB1L1H is a Fish II Expander Board that is used within the Mark IV as an auxiliary board. This board is held in place to the motherboard using screw connections and communicates via a cable connection. The DS3800HFXB1L1H is populated with one vertical pin cable connector, a right-angled cable connector, a second right-angled connector, and a backplane connector. The board is stiffened along its long dimension using two board stiffener components. These are installed at the bottom of the board and toward the center.
Other components located on the DS3800HFXB1L1H include an amber LED indicator, four potentiometers, resistor network arrays, jumper switches, TP test points, and integrated circuits. The board also has metal film resistors, diodes, and capacitors made from both electrolytic and ceramic materials.
The DS3800HFXB1L1H is marked on two edges for alignment purposes. Extraction clips have been installed in two corners to allow for simpler installation and extraction. For more information, please consult technical support products originally provided by GE, like manuals or user guides.
