About the DS3800HHRB

The DS3800HHRB is a highway receive circuit board. The board is part of the Mark IV turbine control series by General Electric. The DS3800HHRB includes one long black connector port along the edge of the board. Lined up adjacent to the connector port are the numbers ten through eighty in increments of ten.

Hardware Tips and Specifications

Throughout the board are twenty-five integrated circuits. Located on the top half of the board are six jumper pins with blue jumpers. On the right edge of the circuit board is a diode which has a red indicator light. Around the circuit board are a number of small blue and white resistors which have a striped pattern and are labeled with the letter R. On the right half of the board, one of these resistors is connected to one of the integrated circuits by a silver metal wire. Two blue capacitors are located on either half of the left side of the circuit board labeled with the letter C. Next to the blue capacitors are larger silver capacitors. Aligned on the right edge of the circuit board are four test points marked with TP. The letters A through H are located along the top edge of the circuit board.

The Mark IV system was developed by General Electric and was based on years of refinement of technologies that have been critical for turbine control for decades. The DS3800HHRB highway receive circuit board comes shipped in a plastic static bag that discharges all energy before it is opened by the user. Technical support and troubleshooting for the part is provided by General Electric.
