About the DS3800HHTB
The DS3800HHTB was developed as a component in the Mark IV series of controls for turbines by GE. The Speedtronic Mark series has developed over the decades as a descendant of the Mark I and Mark II series into the Mark IV system. Beginning with the creation of the Mark I system in the 1960s, the Mark series has been used for controlling all aspects of the operation of turbines, including safety. The Mark IV system is a result of years of the innovation, refinement and development of techniques for automation.
The circuit card is taken up by thirty-four integrated circuits. Each single integrated circuit has an assortment of electronic devices such as transistors, capacitors and resistors all on one chip. There are many pink resistors that are striped located around the board, as well as several blue resistors. There are a series of yellow capacitors which are also located around the board. There are three light-emitting diodes with indicator lights on the right edge of the card. Four test points are situated under the three light-emitting diodes which can alert the operator to any issues with the card. Bordering the left edge of the card is a long black jack connector port. There are silver diodes located on each side of the left half of the board. The full product number, DS3800HHTB is marked on the lower border of the circuit card.
AX Control will package the product in a way in which will get rid of any static electricity before it is opened by the operator.
