About the DS3800HIMA
The DS3800HIMA printed circuit board from GE has been manufactured as part of the Speedtronic/Mark IV system. This system has been created for gas and steam turbine control and has been specifically designed to limit downtime due to electronics failure by using integrated microprocessors using distributed control. The Mark IV performs a variety of functions, including air, fuel and emissions control, and can protect the turbine system against unsafe operating conditions.
The DS3800HIMA is designed as an isolation board. It has the following specifications:
-
factory drilled near or in three corners of the board
-
built with multiple integrated circuits. This includes HP69137 DIP, AM26LS30 Dip dual differential integrated circuits, and AM26LS33 quad differential receivers.
-
built with one transistor, marked LM309K. This is a 5V regulator on a single silicon chip. The LM309K is compatible with TTL and DTL, has an output in excess of 1A, and is designed with thermal overload protection.
-
built with two smaller transistors
-
includes a Bicron transformer 218A4819P2
-
built with multiple capacitors, including a polyester capacitor marked 708d1 8803D 200V, and another capacitor marked 708A1 m/c 100V 5.0+ 10% 8942.
-
built with one amber LED
-
built with multiple resistors and diodes.
The board is labeled on its edge "6BA04." It also states '"CR" applies to all components lacking a prefix.'
GE provided the original technical support for the DS3800HIMA. We at AXControl recommend using original data sheets and/or manuals published by the manufacturer to guide you during the installation of this and other Mark IV components.
