About the DS3800HITA1F1E
The DS3800HITA1F1E is a GE printed circuit board, or PCB manufactured to be a component in their Mark IV/Speedtronic gas and steam turbine control system. This system was designed using integrated chipsets built with controlled failure/recovery technology. If one PCB in the system has a diagnostic problem, the other Mark IV boards automatically take over until a repair can be made. In this way, costly shutdowns are avoided.
The DS3800HITA1F1E has been designed to act as an Input/Output (I/O) board with these specs:
-
it has thirty-four integrated circuits. These include oscillators, DIP components, and EPROMs.
-
it has jumper switches. There are a total of seven jumper switches on the board that give the end user more flexibility in how the DS3800HITA1F1E is configured. J1-J5 can be set to A or B. J6 can be set to short or long. J7 can be set to on or off.
-
it is designed with four resistor network-arrays
-
it has been factory drilled
-
it is alignment-marked at the top edge with triangular marks and the letters A-J
-
it is marked with the codes 6DA03 and 6BA06
-
it has fifteen TPs (test points,) labeled 1-7 and ox / va / vb / vc / out0 / out1 / out2 / dcom.
-
it has a connector along its left edge (218A4553-1 AMP 533002-1 8442.)
-
it has nine LEDs located on the top right edge of the board. Eight are red (numbered) and one amber (imok.)
