About the DS3800HLIA
The GE Div Multi Auxiliary Board DS3800HLIA is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Div Multi Auxiliary Board DS3800HLIA also is populated with 15 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber LED which are visible from the front of the board.
The 15 red LEDs indicate if an error has occurred with a board function. To understand what board function the red LEDs are associated with, refer to the written material provided with the original board from the factory. Each LED is described and what the LED indicates when the LED is lit. It also describes what it indicates when the board is not lit. The board also is populated with 1 amber LED. When the amber LED is lit, it indicates that a warning has been issued but that no processing errors have been reported. When the amber LED is lit, you can use the diagnostic tools. The diagnostic tools provide a report on the health of the individual components and processing of the drive. It also gives a list of all recent errors, warnings, and trip conditions reported by the drive.
A trip condition shuts down the drive automatically and is a feature that protects the drive from damage. For example, if the interior of the drive is above a predefined threshold, the drive will shutdown to protect against damage or unsafe conditions. An overheated drive might be a fire hazard. It might also cause injury to individuals around the drive.
