The GE Div Multi Auxiliary Board DS3800HLIA1B1C is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Div Multi Auxiliary Board DS3800HLIA1B1C also is populated with 15 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber LED which are visible from the front of the board.

When the GE Div Multi Auxiliary Board DS3800HLIA1B1C board is received from the factory, there are some steps to take before the board is installed. First, examine the shipping carton for signs that the box was mishandled in transit. Look for dents in the cardboard or holes made by rough treatment. Also find any signs that water or other liquids dripped on the box. You might also find signs that the box sat in water for a period of time.  Next, inspect the security tape that secures the lid flaps. If the security tape is broken or missing, it might indicate that the box has been tampered with.

With the inspection complete, you can use a sharp blade to cut through the security tape and open the shipping carton. You will find packaging material on top of the board. Remove it and put it to 1 side. Save it for future use. You might want to ship the board to another location for use on another drive. Or, you might want to return the board to the factory. In either case, using the same box and all shipping material will save the board from damage.
