Product Description

The DS3800HLNF is a GE Turbine Control Card.  This component is part of a series of Speedtronic control systems offered by General Electric since the late 1960s.  However, the Mark IV of which this printed circuit board is a part of was the first of these systems to offer a more complex turbine control system where redundancy of service using more than one control module (TMR control) significantly decreased downtime and improved the overall efficiency of the control system. 

The DS3800HLNF is a larger control card that weighs approximately 1.15 pounds before the addition of external packaging.  Your shipping weight will be higher due to the addition of padding and boxing materials we use to protect parts during the shipping process. 

The DS3800HLNF includes two extractor clips on its leading edge to help pull the board from its place within a rack system.   The leading edge also has two tabs to allow installers a place to hold the circuit board while inserting the card into place.  This offers more stability while also protecting components along the leading edge of the board. 

The DS3800HLNF includes three sets of DIP switches on its surface.  It also has a single LED indicator, as well as resistor network arrays, resistors, and many integrated circuits, including FPGAs.  The rear edge of the board is fitted with an extending backplane connector with several voids.
