About the DS3800HMAC1G1F
The DS3800HMAC1G1F is just one of several versions of GE’s Mark IV media access board available here at AX Control. The Mark IV system was the first Speedtronic system to offer the more complex TMR (triple modular redundant) control system that increased the reliability of Speedtronic turbine control systems as compared to earlier versions.
The DS3800HMAC1G1F board works within the Mark IV system to manage how data is transmitted between components within the Mark IV system. To facilitate this, the DS3800HMAC1G1F board has been built with a number of connector components. This includes connectors on the board surface like stab-on connectors, right-angled cable connectors, and pin connectors. Additionally, there is a large metal component mounted along one edge of the board. This component is red in color and is connected via screws from the underside of the DS3800HMAC1G1F PCB. The vertical component is marked as 206B3334G1, and it holds four coaxial connectors that are then wired into the DS3800HMAC1G1F board from their rear surface.
Other board components include over forty integrated circuits, jumper switches, three kinds of transistors, relays, and TP test points. The board also has several red LED indicators located in various locations.
The edge of the board is marked with various codes and also includes alphanumeric markings for alignment. The board is drilled to allow for mounting.
