The DS3800HMPF1F1F is a controller board for the Mark IV Speedtronic system.  The Mark IV was one of several iterations of the Speedtronic control system offered by General Electric.  Each of these offered different types of control for gas and steam industrial turbine systems.  The Mark IV was the first of these systems that offered distributed control through a triple modular control architecture using three identical controllers that each voted on inputs before sending information to the communicator <C>. 

The DS3800HMPF1F1F is only one available version of the Mark IV controller board here at AX Control.  Other versions include the HXPC, HRMA, HPRA, HAIA, NTCA, HSAA, and NVCA boards.   Some of these boards may also function as communicator modules.  

The DS3800HMPF1F1F is a rectangular board that is typically designed with an attached optional auxiliary board.  These two boards communicate using a ribbon cable that plugs into each board using pin connectors.  The connector on the DS3800HMPF1F1F is located centrally on the board.  Additionally, the board has a backplane connector and a right-angled connector on its leading-edge between its extractor clips, test points, jumper switches, and LED indicators.  The extractors on this board can be used for both insertion and removal of the board and allow technicians to handle the board without the need to touch delicate components mounted to the board’s surface.
