Product Description

The DS3800HMPJ1B1D is part of General Electric’s Mark IV turbine control system. Mark IV control represented major forward progress in industrial control, as it offered a new approach to control through modularizing hardware in a way that one basic control panel would have the ability to control the majority of turbine applications, sizes, and types while limiting the failure rate and downtime of system parts. 

The DS3800HMPJ1B1D is a printed circuit board with multiple board components.  This is only one version of this board available within our on-hand inventory; please be sure to order the correct version for your particular application.  

The DS3800HMPJ1B1D includes multiple connector components.  This includes a backplane connector along its rear edge, a vertical pin cable connector located in the center of the board, and a right-angled cable connector along the leading board edge.  

Jumper switches are located along the front board edge and within the body of the board.  There are six jumper switches located on the DS3800HMPJ1B1D.  Be sure to notate the settings of these jumpers before you remove your existing board.  Jumper settings should be duplicated on your replacement component. 

Other board components include a red LED indicator and a yellow LED indicator on the front edge, as well as TP test points located close by.   The board has over fifty integrated circuits, resistors, resistor network arrays, capacitors, and diodes.   Four standoffs are mounted to the board’s surface to allow for the installation of an optional daughterboard.   Extractor clips have been installed at the two leading board edges to aid with installation and removal.
