About the DS3800HMPK1D1D
The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1D1D is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The GE Microprocessor Board DS3800HMPK1D1D also is populated with 3 red indicator LEDs and 1 amber LED which are visible from the front of the board. The board also is populated with a microprocessor, erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM) modules, and a 34-pin connector. It also is populated with 2 50-pin connectors.
The 3 red LEDs each has an ID with a suffix comprised of the letters CR. The remainder of the ID is comprised of a numerical value. Some of the IDs are CR10 and CR 11. When the board is first powered on, all 3 red LEDs are lit for a few seconds so that the operator can verify that the LEDs are operational. When the red LEDs are lit, an error has occurred. Each LED is associated with a circuit on the board and the LED indicates that the circuit has an error. You can run the diagnostic tools that reside on the drive to identify the problem.
The control panel on the drive has a small display and a keypad. The control panel user interface provides multiple menu options to access sections of the configuration parameters. You can edit and view the parameters. The keys are used to move up and down the menu options and make selections. Another selection is to access the diagnostic tools. When complete, you can select another menu option to download the diagnostic results to a laptop.
