About the DS3800HPBD1D1C
The DS3800HPBD1D1C is featured in General Electric's (GE) Mark IV Speedtronic Turbine series.
The DS3800HPBD1D1C easily connects with a pair of clips and a couple of screws. There is a large power port along one edge. There are around twenty different diodes of different colors and sizes. There are also two red lights or LEDs. There is a small silver toggle switch.
The DS3800HPBD1D1C also has several pairs of metal pins. These metal pins are called Jumper Ports. The Jumper ports come with a few black covers. The covers allow the operator to adjust the energy current across the board. There are also small wires that help the energy flow around the board. The board can be re-programmed using the twenty EPROM present. The EPROM holds some of the DS3800HPBD1D1C’s programming and has the ability to be updated and changed. The rest of the DS3800HPBD1D1C’s programs are held in the EEPROM which is constant and can’t be changed.
An additional EEPROM or EPROM can be added in a space labeled “SPARE” if necessary. Each component on the board has an individual alphanumeric mark, for identification purposes. The part number and company logo are also displayed, along with where the board was assembled. Along one edge of the board, it is labeled A through I with small arrows in between every letter.
