About the DS3800HPBD1D1D
The DS3800HPBD1D1D is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic line for turbines, by General Electric (GE). The DS3800HPBD1D1D has thirty-one teal colored diodes, twenty-six mustard yellow diodes, and three silver diodes. All the diodes vary in size. The DS3800HPBD1D1D also has two LEDs or light emitting diodes. There is a small silver toggle switch in a red box. The DS3800HPBD1D1D also has over forty resistors. These resistors have colored markings that have a corresponding code to show the number of Ohms each resistor is capable of handling. The DS3800HPBD1D1D has nine sets of metal pins called Jumper ports. These Jumper ports help manage the flow of energy. The energy flow can be changed based on which Jumper ports are covered and which are exposed. The DS3800HPBD1D1D comes with three Jumper port covers. The DS3800HPBD1D1D has seven EEPROMs. The EEPROMs are small black rectangles with metal tabs the hold some of the programming for the DS3800HPBD1D1D circuit board to function. The EEPROMs programming cannot be altered or changed. The DS3800HPBD1D1D also has twenty-five EPROMs. The EPROM looks just like an EEPROM with the exception that the EPROM has a small circle on the top. This small circle is used to re-program the EPROM if necessary. The DS3800HPBD1D1D also has a section labeled “SPARE” for an extra EPROM or EEPROM to be added. Each section of the DS3800HPBD1D1D has an alphanumeric label next to each part. The edge of the DS3800HPBD1D1D also is labeled A-J with small triangles in between. The part number and manufactures logo are also labeled on the board.
