About the DS3800HPRA
The DS3800HPRA is a circuit board from General Electric’s Speedtronic Mark IV turbine series. The DS3800HPRA a combination of fifty integrated circuits. The integrated circuits are divided into two groups known as EEPROM and EPROMs. The EEPROM is an integrated circuit that comes pre-loaded with the programs for the DS3800HPRA. The programs on the EEPROM are permeant and cannot be changed. The EPROMs on the other hand come pre-loaded with programming as well but can be updated as new programs become available. The DS3800HPRA has thirteen clusters of Jumper ports. The Jumper ports have blue plastic covers that can be moved around between the clusters to control the flow of energy. The DS3800HPRA has around fifty plus light blue resistors with multiple colored bands to indicate the restriction capacity of the resistor. The DS3800HPRA has four medium sized yellow capacitors and four large sized yellow capacitors. A capacitor has an electrical field that is used to store excess energy for the circuit board to use at a later time. The DS3800HPRA has four small circular transistors used to enhance or change electrical signals and electrical power. The DS3800HPRA has a series of around twenty diodes which allow energy to only flow in a single direction. The DS3800HPRA has a crystal oscillator which uses a crystal to create a precise frequency. The DS3800HPRA has a Variable Resistor or Potentiometer which can be adjusted to control the flow of energy using a small screw on one of the faces of the Variable Resistor. The DS3800HPRA has a small male terminal port and a large female terminal port to connect with other devices.
