Product Description

The DS3800HPTN is a driver board manufactured by GE (General Electric). The DS3800HPTN has three LED lights two are red and one is yellow. The eleven gold prongs on the left side of the board and four gold long prongs with a white case on the right. There are two small white capacitors, three small yellow, one medium size capacitor, and three large white capacitors. There twenty-two diodes in a range of colors. There is twelve medium size blue resistors and eleven black resistors. There are also six long grey resistors that are rated for ten watts and eighteen ohms with a variance of five percent either way. There are three large transistors and five small circular transistors. Transistors are used to assist in amplifying or switching an electronic signal or electrical power. There is an inductor which stores energy in a magnetic field it creates when an electric current flows through it. The DS3800HPTN has two transformers side by side. Transformers are used to transfer electrical energy between multiple circuits using electromagnetic induction. Next to the transformers are four thin prongs. There is also a single glass fuse. The DS3800HPTN has two small clips and a few screw ports to help attach the board in place. The top of the board is labeled A through H. Every piece of the DS3800HPTN board is labeled in white with a corresponding letter and number.
