About the DS3800HRDA
The DS3800HRDA is featured in the Speedtronic Mark IV series produced by General Electric (GE). The DS3800HRDA has nearly eighty resistors. These resistors handle the energy as it flows through the circuit board. Each resistor has a series of marking to indicate how much energy it can handle. There are twenty-seven green diodes, there are five large silver diodes, there are thirty-five orange diodes, there are five blue diodes, there are also eighteen circular grey diodes. The DS3800HRDA has two amber LEDs and four sets of four red LEDs in black cases. There are many connection points of the DS3800HRDA. One is small white four prong, a long female port on one edge and a large male port on the opposite edge from the female port. There is a combination of twenty-eight EPROM and EEPROMs. These devices store the programming for the DS3800HRDA. If the DS3800HRDA needed updated it would be done through the EPROM. The EEPROM hold a specific set of programs and cannot be altered. The is a section to add an addition EPROM or EEPROM labeled “SPARE”. The DS3800HRDA has two plastic clips and two screw holes to connect it to another board or secure it in place. The DS3800HRDA has each part labeled with an alphanumeric code. The part number (DS3800HRDA) and General Electric’s (GE) company logo is also present on the board. Along with where the circuit board was assembled.
