About the DS3800HRMA
The DS3800HRMA is from General Electric for their Mark IV Speedtronic series. The DS3800HRMA has a large female terminal port and one medium sized male terminal ports. These terminal ports allow the DS3800HRMA to get power from surrounding circuit boards. The DS3800HRMA has eighteen sets of Jumper Ports. These Jumper Ports are used to control the flow of energy around the circuit board by covering the Jump Ports with the plastic covers. The DS3800HRMA has a small silver rectangle referred to as a crystal oscillator. A crystal oscillator uses a crystal to create a precise frequency. The DS3800HRMA has two silver diodes, five large light blue diodes, and thirty-eight small light blue diodes. The DS3800HRMA has around thirty light blue resistors. The resistors have up to five different colored rings on the outside. The has a combination of forty-two integrated circuits ranging in size (small, medium and large). The integrated circuits are also called EPROM or EEPROM. The EPROM is a re-programmable circuit that holds data for the DS3800HRMA to function. The EPROM has a small circular port in the top of it where it is reprogramed. The EEPROM comes pre-programmed with data for the DS3800HRMA and cannot be altered. Each section on the circuit board is labeled with a number and letter combination. The part number (DS3800HRMA) and General Electric’s emblem are printed on the circuit board.
