About the DS3800HRRA1D1B
The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1D1B is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board is populated with 8 red indicator LEDs and 1 reset toggle switch. The analog/digital converter is a component embedded on the board. It converts the analog signals to a digital format. The digital format is used for signal processing throughout the drive. The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1D1B is also populated with 1 amber indicator LED.
The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1D1B also is populated with relay switches. The relays receive a signal to switch a circuit off and on. The red indicator LEDs are engineered to indicate the position of the switch. The operator monitors the red LEDs that show the status of the relays. When the operator sees the red LEDs flash, it means the circuits are active and that normal processing is taking place.
When the amber LED is on, it indicates that a problem exists with the board. There are actions to take before you call for service. First, prepare to use the reset toggle switch. Open the door to the board rack and locate the reset toggle switch. Use care that you do not touch other components and move the switch to the left as the printed information on the board describes.
This shuts down the control signals but does not power down the board. Within 30 seconds the board resets and the control signals restart in the proper sequence.
