About the DS3800HRRA1F1D
The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1F1D is designed for quick installation in the drive. The board features a modular connector on 1 end and retention levers on the other end. The board is populated with 8 red indicator LEDs and 1 reset toggle switch. The analog/digital converter is a component embedded on the board. It converts the analog signals to a digital format. The digital format is used for signal processing throughout the drive. The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1F1D is also populated with 1 amber indicator LED.
The GE Relay Output Board DS3800HRRA1F1D is also populated with 8 relay switches. The relays control the operation of other components by switching off and on the current to the devices. The operator can monitor the activity of the individual relay switches by observing the red LEDs on the board. Each relay switch is associated with 1 red LED.
When the red LED is on, the relay switch is closed and it is supplying power to the device. When the red is off, the relay switch is off and the device is not receiving power. When the LED remains off for an extended period of time, the relay might be experiencing an error. The relays turn off and on in response to signals the board receives. If the signals are out of sequence the relay switch might not receive the control signal properly. A procedure is available to restart the control signals. A qualified technician can turn the reset button off and on to restart the board.
