About the DS3800HRTA
The DS3800HRTA is a circuit board created by GE (General Electric) for their Mark IV (Speedtronic) line. The DS3800HRTA are thirty-six EPROM and EEPROMs. These integrated circuits hold the all the programming for the DS3800HRTA. The EEPROMs come pre-programmed. The EPROMs can be updated through a tiny circular port on the top of each device (these circles are also how to tell the EPROM and EEPROMs apart). There are eight black diodes, thirteen clear diodes, two teal diodes and two sky blue diodes. Diodes allow energy to flow in only one direction. There are sixteen sets of Jumper ports. The Jumper ports include covers that may be placed or not used at all, this helps the worker control which way the energy flows through the circuit board. The DS3800HRTA has five black capacitors and two yellow capacitors. Capacitors stores any potential energy across the board in an electrical field. The DS3800HRTA has a single crystal oscillator, which appears like a silver square, which is used in making precise frequencies. There are four small red LEDs. The LEDs will light up as an electrical current flows through them. The DS3800HRTA has two male ports and a female port. These ports allow the DS3800HRTA to be connected to other circuit boards. There is four contact point to secure the DS3800HRTA in place. The components are all labeled accordingly with an alphanumeric code. There are twenty resistors on this circuit board. Every resistor is striped with different colors as a way to figure out its energy capacity.
