About the DS3800HSCX

The DS3800HSCX is a printed circuit board. This product was made by General Electric. It is a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark series of turbine controls have been relied upon for decades to control gas and steam turbines efficiently and safely.

Located all over this circuit board are over 200 different multicolored resistors in a striped pattern. Running along the edge of the left side of the board is a connector port. In the middle of the right edge is another connector port. If needed, a user can connect other components to the board using these connector ports. A series of 16 integrated circuits is also found on the right half of the board. Several kinds of very small electrical components including resistors, diodes and capacitors are included on every one of the integrated circuits. Situated on the other side of the board is a collection of capacitors. A series of small capacitors is arranged next to these yellow capacitors. A line of transistors is found next to the capacitors and alternates with a set of small resistors. Larger blue capacitors are arranged in a line next to these resistors. Between those capacitors and a separate grouping of resistors is a line of diodes and resistors. Situated on the right side of the board are even more transistors for a total of 48 transistors. This board also has over 30 diodes and over 60 capacitors.
