About the DS3800HSHA1D1D
This product is a circuit board by made by General Electric. DS3800HSHA1D1D was produced as part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark series is responsible for the control of gas and steam turbines. Mark products have been relied on to ensure that turbines are working correctly and safely for decades since Mark I was introduced in the 1960s.
The DS3800HSHA1D1D features many different circuit components on the board. Spanning the length of the left side of the board is a jack connector port. On the opposite side of the board is a smaller connector port. These can be used if necessary to connect additional components to the board or to connect the board to another circuit board. Next to the large connector port is a single medium-sized blue capacitor. Placed throughout the board are twenty-five (25) integrated circuits in various sizes. These integrated circuits house a number of different components, such as capacitors, resistors and diodes on each single chip. A series of jumper pins with red jumpers is located on both the top and bottom edges of the board. Dispersed around the board are small yellow capacitors and striped resistors in various colors. There are seven (7) test points on the right edge of the board with labels such as COM, RST, COM, DSYNC, SYNC, and DATA. Immediately next to the test points are three (3) LEDs, or light-emitting diodes. Two of these LEDs are red and the third is orange. There are also some silver diodes located around the board.
