About the DS3800HSPC1D1F
DS3800HSPC1D1F is a speed position input board. It is a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series and was made by General Electric.
The DS3800HSPC1D1F has 25 integrated circuits. All of the integrated circuits contain within them several very small components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes. There are many capacitors in different colors on the board. Three of the capacitors are silver and one capacitor is yellow. There are also many light blue capacitors and black capacitors. Also on the card is a capacitor banded with various colors. These bands signify the energy capacity of the device. Many resistors are covered in colored bands with also represent the device's capacity. On the board are two transistors. One of the transistors is silver and cylindrical in shape. This transistor is designated as Q2. The other transistor is black and has a half-moon shape. This transistor is labeled as Q1. Many red-banded diodes can be found on the surface of the card. Bordering the right side of the board is a series of test points. These test points enable the board's functionality to be tested. On the right end of the board is a blue male jack connector port. A few jumper pins are on the board, featuring a black jumper to make connections between pins. A blue potentiometer, also known as a variable resistor is found on the right end of the DS3800HSPC1D1F. Potentiometers are sometimes used to control variables such as volume. In a printed circuit board, they enable the resistance of the variable resistor to be adjusted.
