About the DS3800HSQE
The DS3800HSQE is a printed circuit board (PCB). This product was produced by General Electric. The DS3800HSQE was made to be a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series designed for turbine control.
The DS3800HSQE contains a number of different types of components. Thirty-two (32) integrated circuits are located around the board. There are twenty-six (26) small integrated circuits, as well as five (5) medium integrated circuits and one (1) large integrated circuit. These integrated circuits are labeled with their part numbers. Noticeable on the DS3800HSQE are four (4) connector ports. One of these ports is located in the center of the board. There are (2) two ports on the DS3800HSQE’s right edge. These ports are labeled with their part numbers, 218A4637P5 and 218A4637P3. The last connector port is situated on the lower edge of the board. Nine (9) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are placed near the top of the board. Eight (8) of these LEDs are red and one (1) of the LEDs is orange. Many capacitors in different shapes and sizes are found on the DS3800HSQE. There are small capacitors in blue, red, and silver as well as larger silver capacitors and larger black capacitors. Over one-hundred (100) small resistors can be seen on the board. These resistors are banded in different colors such as blue and red. Near the top edge of the DS3800HSQE there are three (3) test points. By using these test points, an operator can test the board to ensure that it is working correctly.
