About the DS3800HVDC
The DS3800HVDC is a printed circuit board (PCB) developed by General Electric (GE) to be a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. Mark IV is a system which is used to control and regulate the operations of gas and steam turbines.
The Mark IV is used for an operator to interface with gas turbine equipment. Mark IV is the digital implementation of turbine control, protection and sequencing technologies. These technologies came about with the invention of the very first Mark I system in 1968. These techniques were learned, refined and developed over a period of four decades. The Speedtronic Mark IV control system uses then state of the art technology such as triple redundant sixteen bit microprocessor controllers and two out of three voting redundancy on critical control and protection. Mark IV fulfills all requirements of turbine control, including fuel control and temperature control. The Mark IV controls the automation of startup, shutdown and cool down as well as emissions. The Mark IV system also features built in diagnostics to help a user with troubleshooting. The Mark IV monitors all turbine control and auxiliary functions. The system also protects against any unsafe and adverse operating conditions. The Mark IV system has three control processors, or sections, which each have their own dedicated power supply and distributed sensors. A microprocessor called the communicator handles all communication between control processors.
AX Control is proud to provide excellent customer service for the DS3800HVDC. All technical issues and necessary troubleshooting for the DS3800NVDC would need to be addressed with General Electric.
