Product Description
The DS3800HXFC is a PCB from GE for the Mark IV series. The MKIV was created for gas or steam turbine control. It is designed on a framework of interconnected microprocessors that work to monitor the turbine system around the clock.
The DS3800HXFC has alignment lettering (A through J) marked on one edge. This is interspersed with triangular marks. The board is drilled in each corner, and nylon extractor clips are installed in two of these. Extractors are a benefit to technicians when working space is limited since the clips can act as handles for the PCB, but also give workers a lever point to push against the frame or chassis to pull the board from its position.
The DS3800HXFC has three mating connectors, including one male vertical pin connector, one male right-angled connector (M83503/24-19 8535) and one multi-pin right-angled connector (218A4553-1 Amp 533002-1 8728.) It is built with one toggle switch, three light emitting diodes, or LEDs (one amber, two red,) four test points, and four vertical nylon spacers designed to carry the corners of an optional auxiliary board.
The DS3800HXFC has eight jumper switches on its surface. It has six resistor network arrays. The board has over forty circuits. This includes octal buffers & line drivers, quad differential line drivers with an input voltage of 15V and a 6k minimum input impedance, octal tri-state buffers/drivers/receivers with tri-state outputs and PNP inputs, and hex/quad D flip-flops with buffered clock and direct clear inputs.
Your product will ship from the AX Control warehouse in a protective, static-reducing plastic bag or covering. GE provided technical support for the DS3800HXFC, including manuals and data sheets.
