About the DS3800NADC1C
The DS3800NADC1C is a printed circuit board from GE that is designed to function as an analog input circuit card within a Mark IV system. The DS3800NADC1C has been built as follows:
-
There is one terminal block placed in the upper right quadrant.
-
There are four TP points placed on the right lower edge.
-
There is one male connector designed for communication with other PCBs placed parallel to the left edge.
-
Each corner has been factory drilled. This gives the end user options for mounting.
-
The top edge is alignment marked (A through J.)
-
There is an extractor clip attached to the top right and bottom right corner. These are optimal leverage solutions for the insertion and extraction of the PCB with minimal technician interaction with board circuitry.
-
There are two potentiometers placed in the upper right quadrant, parallel to the top edge of the board.
-
There are multiple resistors, typically made of ceramic covered metal film.
-
There are multiple integrated circuits, including the DATEL A/D converter.
The Datel A/D ADC-HX12BMC has 12-bit resolution with 5 input voltage ranges. It has the ability to be short-cycled for faster conversions in lower-res applications. It utilizes a 12-bit monolithic DAC which includes a precision zener reference source. The circuit also includes a monolithic buffer amplifier, a clock, and a monolithic 12-bit successive approximation register.
Installation guidelines for the DS3800NADC1C may be found within original data sheets or manuals published by the manufacturer. Please follow all published technical support recommendations.
