The DS3800NCBA is part of the Speedtronic Mark IV turbine control series. It was manufactured by General Electric. The Mark systems have been in use for decades to provide superior turbine control ever since the Mark I. The DS3800NCBA is a component circuit board.

Eight potentiometers can be found on the right side of the DS3800NCBA. Potentiometers, or variable resistors, are useful for changing the resistance of each part. The potentiometers on the DS3800NCBA are labeled with the initials RH, from RH1 to RH8. A message which reads "mount polarity bands" is located near the potentiometers. Forty-seven capacitors are featured all around the DS3800NCBA. The capacitors are all labeled with numbers. Written on the top border of the DS3800NCBA are the letters A to J. Located near the top of the DS3800NCBA are 2 resistors. Multicolored bands cover the resistors. The resistance capability of each device is signified by the different colored stripes. The initial R identifies these resistors. They are labeled R20 and R21. On the left side of the DS3800NCBA is a connector port that occupies the entire left edge of the board. With this connector port, more parts or boards may be connected to the DS3800NCBA. Listed near the port by tens are the numbers 10 through 80. Letters are found throughout the DS3800NCBA board from A to Z.
