About the DS3800NDAC
The DS3800NDAC is part of General Electric’s Speedtronic (Mark IV) Turbine line. The DS3800NDAC has three thin metal dividers. The DS3800NDAC has thirty-six blue diodes, sixteen silver diodes of various sizes, four red diodes and one orange diode. The DS3800NDAC has seventy-four resistors with various color markings (which identify current capacity). The DS3800NDAC also has a single amber colored LED light, which will light up as a current runs through it. The DS3800NDAC has a small male port with a blue case with two clips and a large black plastic female port with forty places for prongs. There are eight blue Potentiometers also referred to as variable resistors. Each variable resistor is adjustable independently of one another by a small screw on the top of each. The DS3800NDAC also has twelve EEPROMs. The EEPROMs come already loaded with the necessary data for the DS3800NDAC to function. The EPROM come programmed but can be re-programmed as updates become necessary. The DS3800NDAC also has a single crystal oscillator. The crystal oscillator is used to produce a specific frequency. There are two screws and two clips that attach the DS3800NDAC to the existing system. One edge is labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and J. The DS3800NDAC has a silk screen which is all the labels on the board. Each component has its own label and is outlined. The DS3800NDAC also has GE’s logo and where it was manufactured (U.S.A.) printed underneath the logo.
