Product Description

The DS3800NECA1B1A from GE works with the Mark IV system as an exciter voltage control board. The Mark IV, designed for gas or steam turbine management, can automate certain functions of turbine control management, such as start up and shut down.

The DS3800NECA1B1A is built with the following components and specs:

• -12 LEDs (11 red, 1 amber)

• -one toggle switch and one push-button switch

• -spare plated through holes

• -thirty-one test points

• -twenty-five integrated circuits including GE H11AX926 optocouplers and LM339J low power low offset voltage quad comparators

• -one potentiometer

• -two transistors

• -multiple connectors for communicating with other PCBs, including two 218A4637 -P2 (2) and -P3 (1) connectors. There are two vertical male pin connectors (218A4807P1.) The board has two headers (one 4-pin and one 6-pin.)

• -it is designed to connect to an optional daughter board. This auxiliary connects to a male ribbon connector (218A4807P3) located near the center of the board. There are four nylon pins inserted in the DS3800NECA1B1A available to support the optional auxiliary if it is added.

DS3800NECA1B1A is alignment marked along two edges. It is populated with many resistors, diodes, and capacitors. Resistors tend to be ceramic covered metal film, and are of differing values.
