GE manufactured the DS3800NFCD1S1H as a firing circuit board component for the Mark IV (Speedtronic) series. The Mark IV was designed for gas and steam turbine control management.

The DS3800NFCD1S1H has been factory drilled in all corners. It has been drilled twice in each left corner. There are three other factory drill holes located on the board. It is alignment-marked along its top edge. It has two connectors along its right edge: 218A4637-P4 11492BR and 218A4637-P4 32694AR. It has one vertical 5-pin (male) connector in its lower left quadrant. It has two Augat DIP plugs, one located in its upper left quadrant and the other located along the lower middle edge.

The DS3800NFCD1S1H has been built with four nylon pins and 17 brass nickel plated pins to support or lock in the auxiliary board DS3800DFCD, which is designed to work with the DS3800NFCD1S1H. These pins are located along the right edge of the board.

Other components populating the DS3800NFCD1S1H include two plunge switches, fourteen red LEDs, and one amber LED, 44 integrated circuits including circuits from Motorola and Intel, four jumper switches, thirty test points, and over twenty transistors.
