Product Description
The DS3800NFCF1C1C is a PCB manufactured by GE for the Mark IV system. The Mark IV was created for steam and gas turbine control. The Mark IV can keep the turbine system working within safe parameters and can also automate such procedures as startup and shut down.
The DS3800NFCF1C1C is built with 42 integrated circuits. This includes up/down binary counters, flip-flops and 8-bit static MOS RAM with single and +5 V power supply. It has twenty-one transistors, fifteen LEDs (fourteen red and one amber,) and two jumpers. The DS3800NFCF1C1C is designed to accept an auxiliary board (DS3800DFCF) which when installed gives the DS3800NFCF1C1C access to another five jumpers plus three ammeters. The auxiliary board is supported by four nylon pins and locked in place by seventeen board-to-board connectors.
The DS3800NFCF1C1C is alignment marked A through L. It is factory-drilled to give the user mounting options. It is designed with two plunge switches along one edge. These are marked "rest" and "step." There are three connectors located on the board to allow the DS3800NFCF1C1C to communicate with other PCBs. This includes a 10-pin male vertical connector as well as two (218A4637-P4 0027) connectors placed along one short edge.
The DS3800NFCF1C1C has twenty-nine TP test points. It has been built with multiple metal film resistors of differing values and several 8542 +/-2 M/E 0022 200V capacitors.
Technical support publications such as data sheets and manuals referencing the DS3800NFCF1C1C were originally provided by GE. If needed, these publications may be the best source for installation guidelines.
