The DS3800NFCF1D1D is designed to function as a firing board within the Speedtronic/Mark IV series. This series was created for gas/steam turbine control management. It can automate procedures such as cool down and shut down, and can also protect the turbine system from operating in unsafe conditions.

The DS3800NFCF1D1D has the following specifications:

• -factory-drilled at all corners. Marked for alignment.

• -accepts the auxiliary board DS3800DFCF. When installed, this auxiliary gives access to extra components including jumpers and ammeters. The auxiliary is held in place by board-to-board connector pins.

• -two plunge switches, located in the lower left corner. These switches are marked "rest" and "step."

• -seven LEDs at upper edge. Eight LEDs at lower edge.

• -two jumper switches.

• -twenty-nine test points. Each test point is labeled.

• -twenty-one transistors.

• -forty-two integrated circuits. This includes 8-bit static MOS RAM chips, flip-flops, crystal oscillators (11.00MHz KDS 5L,) and binary counters.

• -eight 8542 +/-2 M/E 0022 200V capacitors. There are various other capacitors located on the board.

• -built with resistors of differing values. The majority of these capacitors tend to be ceramic covered metal film.
