About the DS3800NFEE1C1B
The DS3800NFEE1C1B is an analog interface circuit board. This board was manufactured by General Electric. The DS3800NFEE1C1B is a component in the Speedtronic Mark IV series made for turbine control.
The DS3800NFEE1C1B has one (1) black cube-shaped transformer on the right end of the board identified by its part name 218A4499-P2. Located on the left side of the board is a connector port. Using this port, additional components or other boards can be connected to the DS3800NFCC1C1B. Over ten (10) round silver transistors are placed all around the board. Three (3) blue potentiometers are in the top left corner of the board. With these potentiometers, otherwise known as variable resistors, the resistance of each device can be altered. One (1) relay, or contactor, can be found on the bottom left corner of the DS3800NFEE1C1B. The circuit board contains many capacitors in different sizes and colors. Two (2) large yellow capacitors are near the top of the board. Smaller yellow capacitors are scattered throughout the board. A large orange capacitor is in the bottom left corner. Several silver capacitors are also located on the DS3800NFEE1C1B. Two rectangular pink capacitors are seen near the center of the board. On the right edge of the DS3800NFEE1C1B is a red LED, or light-emitting diode. This device emits a red glow when it is functioning. Near the LED are test points. The test points enable an operator to test the DS3800NFEE1C1B to make sure it is working. Well over one-hundred (100) resistors take up much of the circuit board. These resistors come in many different sizes and colors.
