About the DS3800NFLA
The DS3800NFLA is a circuit board which was manufactured by General Electric. This product was created as a part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series, which is designed to control turbines. The DS3800NFLA is what is known as a daughter board, or a small board which can be added onto another board to add to its components and expand its functionality.
Arranged in two parallel columns on the left half of the DS3800NFLA are four (4) diodes. These diodes are black and brown. They are labeled with the designator CR, from CR 1 to CR8. At least one smaller diodes is located on the board in the center. This small diode is grey and black and it is labeled as CR11. Two brown resistors are sitting near the middle of the DS3800NFLA. This resistors also have bands which are red, black, gold, and silver. They are labeled with the letter R, as R2 and R6. Three round silver transistors are located on the DS3800NFLA arranged in a horizontal row. These three transistors are labeled with their designator Q, from Q1 to Q3. One large orange capacitor can be seen on the DS3800NFLA. This is a 12 volt capacitor. Located near the orange capacitor is a relay, or contactor, which is silver and rectangular. One long fuse is on the DS3800NFLA. This fuse is clear in the middle and has silver enclosures on the sides. A series of jumper pins border both ends of the DS3800NFLA. These jumper pins can be connected using a jumper. Doing this can change the functions of the circuit board.
