This product is a component in the Speedtronic Mark IV turbine control series. It was manufactured by General Electric (GE). The DS3800NFMC1F1D is a fault finder display circuit board. The Mark IV series has been relied upon for several decades to provide safety and functionality in gas and steam turbines.

The DS3800NFMC1F1D has a long connector port spanning the left edge of the board. Nine (9) red LEDs, also called light-emitting diodes, sit on the right edge of the circuit board. Below the LEDs are fifteen (15) test points. These enable a user to make sure that the board is working correctly. Thirty-eight (38) integrated circuits are placed all over the DS3800NFMC1F1D. Each of the integrated circuits contains very small resistors, diodes, and capacitors. Sitting on the left side of the DS3800NFMC1F1D are nineteen (19) transistors. In between the transistors is a variety of other components. There are resistors banded in varying colors as well as diodes and capacitors. Below these is a line of banded resistors next to two (2) banded resistors and two banded capacitors. Listed along the upper edge of the DS3800NFMC1F1D are the letters A through J. On the left edge next to the connector port are the numbers 10 through 80 by tens. The right side of the card has more banded resistors, solid red resistors and banded capacitors.
