The DS3800NGRA1J1D is a regulator board from GE designed to fit within the Mark IV series. The Mark IV was manufactured for steam and gas turbine management. It can be used for the automation of some procedures like startup and shutdown. It can also be used to monitor emissions of water, fuel, and air. The Mark IV was designed to limit downtime caused by electronics failure. It limits downtime by duplicating all important responsibilities over multiple integrated chipsets.
The DS3800NGRA1J1D is built with four right-angled PCB mating connectors. All four connectors are marked 218A4637, but two of these connectors are P4 connectors while two are P6 connectors. These connectors populate the short edges of the board. There is also one female 28-pin Augat connector placed on the DS3800NGRA1J1D.
The DS3800NGRA1J1D has twenty-five circuits. This includes voltage comparators, hex inverters, precision amplifiers, and analog switches. The analog switches have digital filters and sample and hold circuits. They have four selectable SPST switches which feature fast switching speeds of 185ns. These devices are CMOS and TTL compatible.
