About the DS3800NGRC1D1D
The DS3800NGRC1D1D is a PCB developed by GE as a component in their Mark IV series. This series was created for gas/steam turbine management and can automate some procedures such as startup and shut down. It is also able to keep the system from running during unsafe or adverse conditions.
The DS3800NGRC1D1D is built with four communication ports connected to the board. This includes two 218A4637-P4 8925 connectors. Two P6 ports (P6 8920 and P6 8927) from this series are also connected. One six-pin header is attached between two of these ports.
The DS3800NGRC1D1D is drilled for mounting. It is alignment marked. It has also been marked with the code '6BA08.' The board has multiple resistors, capacitors, and diodes. Resistors are both carbon composite and (more often) ceramic covered metal film. Capacitors tend to be axial polyester film.
The DS3800NGRC1D1D has twenty-five integrated circuits, including quad 2-input exclusive OR gates with supply and input voltages of 7V. It is built with voltage comparators which can have their inputs and outputs isolated from the system ground. Offset balancing and strobe capability are provided and outputs can be wire OR'ed. These operate from a single 5V supply. It also has precision operational amplifiers.
GE provided all original technical support for the DS3800NGRC1D1D. This included publications with installation guidelines and maintenance schedules (manuals, datasheets.)
