Product Description

The DS3800NHVE is a printed circuit board from GE designed as part of the Mark IV series. The Mark IV was created for steam or gas turbine management. It can be used for water, air and fuel emissions monitoring. It can also automate some processes, such as shutdown, for more efficient management.

The DS3800NHVE has been created to function as a high voltage card. It has the following specifications:

• It is double-drilled in each corner.

• It has multi-pin communication connectors (2) located on its left edge.

• It is alignment marked on two edges.

• It is marked 6BA01 and 6DA01.

• It has vertical pin headers on three edges. There are three 3-pin eight position headers on the top edge. These are marked P1/P2/P3. There are five 2-pin four position headers on the right edge. These are marked 01/02/03/P/N. There are three 3-pin eight position headers on the lower edge. These are marked N1/N2/N3.

• It has five jumper switches. The jumpers can be set to H or B.

• It has six round transformers.

• It has six red LEDs.

• It is built with six contact points. One of these points sits in the bottom left corner. The other five are in a parallel line on the right side of the PCB.

The DS3800NHVE uses both ceramic covered metal film and CCR (carbon composite) resistors. Capacitors vary in size and capacitance but include six 708A1 M/e 100V 2.0 +/-10% capacitors located toward the center of the board.
