About the DS3800NHVE1C1B
GE developed the DS3800NHVE1C1B as a Hi HP board for their Mark IV series. This series, which was developed for gas/steam turbine control, uses a variety of features to make system management more efficient, including automating some procedures like startup and shutdown. It also can monitor air, water, and fuel emissions.
The DS3800NHVE1C1B has some vertical height to it due to the attachment of six Bicron transformers (218A4886 Pl.) These transformers are placed in two rows of three and take up a large percentage of the left side of the board. Between the lines of transformers are six polyester film 2.0+/- 10% 100V capacitors, six light emitting diodes (LEDs,) and twelve carbon composite resistors banded in yellow, purple, black and gold.
The DS3800NHVE1C1B is also built with six contact points, two male communication connectors (218A4807 P4) five jumpers that can be set to H or B, and multiple straight-pin headers. The headers include six 8-position 3-pin headers, labeled p1,p2, p3 (top edge) n1, n2, and n3 (bottom edge,) and five 4-position 2-pin headers labeled 01, 02, 03, p and n, located on the right edge.
The DS3800NHVE1C1B is alignment marked and factory drilled in all corners. One drilling has been made in the center of the board. All components are labeled.
