The DS3800NHVP1B1B is a high-voltage board designed for use within the Mark IV turbine control system. The Mark IV was the first of GE’s Speedtronic turbine control systems that offered triple modular redundant control units. This type of design significantly reduces downtime and improves the reliability of the control system.

The DS3800NHVP1B1B is a long and narrow board that has been factory drilled along all edges. It also has multiple round openings made along the center of the board.
The DS3800NHVP1B1B includes many connectors. These include three vertical pin connectors located at each short board edge, six total. There is another vertical pin connector toward the board’s front edge. Finally, the board has several wire jumper connectors that lead to surface wiring.
Other board components include four red LEDs, placed in two sets of two. The board has two sets of relays, along with multiple capacitors, resistors, and diodes of varying sizes and materials. Most components are marked with some sort of reference designation to help you identify them. Also, the board carries the GE logo and several codes to help with placement and wiring.
