The DS3800NLTA1H1E is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic line by General Electric. The DS3800NLTA1H1E has two Variable resistors also called Potentiometers. The Variable Resistors can be independently adjusted to control the amount of energy flowing through the circuit board using a tiny screw on the side of each one. The DS3800NLTA1H1E has two large mustard yellow diodes, twenty-three small mustard yellow diodes, three large silver diodes, one small silver diode, six large dark red diodes, six large orange diodes, eleven light grey diodes, one large black diode, and one tiny silver diode. The DS3800NLTA1H1E has seventy-three pink resistors and eight blue resistors. Each resistor restricts a certain amount of energy which can be figured out by the strips on the outside of each resistor. The DS3800NLTA1H1E has eleven EEPROM which holds data but can not be altered and five EPROM which also holds data but can be updated. The EPROM and EEPROMS are also referred to as integrated circuits. The DS3800NLTA1H1E has five long red capacitors, four long yellow capacitors, and one small yellow capacitor. The capacitors are used to store any excess energy on the circuit board in an electrical field. The DS3800NLTA1H1E  has five small half-circle shaped transistors. Transistors amplify or alter electronic signals and electrical power. The DS3800NLTA1H1E has forty metal prongs on one of the short edges, and forty-six metal prongs down the right edge (near the center) of the board.  The DS3800NLTA1H1E has three female terminal ports and one male terminal port with a blue plastic case.
