About the DS3800NMEA1G1E
General Electric released several versions of its popular Speedtronic turbine control system. One of these was the Mark IV turbine control system. It was created with microprocessors and a modularized design to help manufacturers who wanted to take advantage of newly available computerized systems while still keeping their costs down. This is a TMR (triple modular redundant) system that has two-out-of-three voting on most outputs. This sort of architecture allows any single controller to go offline because of a problem or because of maintenance without causing downtime for the entire system.
The DS3800NMEA1G1E printed circuit board is used as a motor excitation card. Since our company keeps on-hand stock of so many different versions of this board, we strongly suggest double-checking your part number as you place your order to ensure that you order the correct version for your application. The best practice is to order an exact duplicate of your current part to ensure compatibility.
The DS3800NMEA1G1E has pre-installed standoffs to allow for the installation of auxiliary boards if they are needed. The primary board is drilled on its edges to allow for mounting. Board components include connectors (both right-angle male connectors and vertical female connectors), test points, potentiometers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and transistors. Most components are marked with reference designators for easy identification.
Refer to GE manuals for additional information. If you need replacement copies of GE user guides or manuals, let us know when you place your order. If we can help with your request, we are happy to.
