About the DS3800NMEA1H1D
The DS3800NMEA1H1D circuit board functions as a Motor Excitation board within General Electric’s Mark IV turbine control system. While replacement parts for the Mark IV have been discontinued by the OEM and are no longer supported by General Electric, AX Control maintains on-hand stock of many of these components so we can quickly fulfill your orders and keep your facilities up and running. We have several versions of the Motor Excitation board in stock, so please be sure to order the correct version for your application.
The DS3800NMEA1H1D weighs in at approximately 0.77 pounds before it is packed and prepared for shipment. The rectangular board functions as a motor exciter controller and is most often used to induce an electromagnetic field in the armature coil.
The board is heavily populated with components. This includes right-angled connectors located on its right edge, as well as over 30 integrated circuits including EPROMs and EEPROMs. The board also has capacitors, resistors, multiple transistors, diodes, and two Augat connectors. The board is also designed with standoffs to allow mounting of an additional daughterboard. The board is marked with the board identification number, with codes to help with wiring and insertion, and with marks along two edges. It has been drilled along all edges of the board to allow for mounting.
Refer to GE manuals for additional details. AX Control can help you with sourcing any documentation you may lack. Let our team know what you need when you call with your order. If we have any documentation available, we’re happy to help.
