The DS3800NMEA1K1H motor excitation board is one of several Mark IV motor excitation boards available in our company’s ready-to-ship stock.  Because there are so many versions of this particular board, please be sure to double-check your part number against the part you are ordering.  While we want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase, we cannot be held responsible for mis-ordered components.  The Mark IV motor excitation board comes in several different iterations with only minor changes between them.   Each board is designed to work in a slightly different way within the system. 

The DS3800NMEA1K1H is a rectangular board that is heavily populated with mounted through-hole (TH) components.  This includes a number of different integrated circuits, as well as a scattering of transistors, many resistors, capacitors, diodes, four TP test points, two Augat connectors/terminal blocks, three potentiometers/variable resistors, and several right-angled connectors.  Most components are marked with their original manufacturers’ markings and also carry a reference designator.  

The DS3800NMEA1K1H is designed to accept an auxiliary component board.  This can mount to standoffs already installed on the surface of the DS3800NMEA1K1H board.  Please be aware this auxiliary is not included in your original purchase.   Refer to General Electric manuals and user guides for additional information about the auxiliary and for more information regarding this board’s proper handling procedures.  Manuals will also help guide you through proper installation and maintenance.
