About the DS3800NMEC1D1B
General Electric (GE) manufactured the DS3800NMEC1D1B for their Mark IV system. This series was created for steam/gas turbine management and uses its triple-redundant microcomputer-based controls to limit downtime caused by electronics failure. This, along with the Mark IV’s ability to automate standard processes like startup and shutdown, increases the efficiency of such systems.
The DS3800NMEC1D1B has multiple components attached to its large surface. This includes several vertical spacers made of nylon to support auxiliary boards or boards placed above the DS3800NMEC1D1B. The DS3800NMEC1D1B has five PCB mating connectors, including two male vertical pin connectors and three right-angled connectors (218A4637P2.) It also has one right-angled 6-pin header.
The DS3800NMEC1D1B is built with a single rotary potentiometer, ten transistors, seventeen test points, and two jumper switches. The jumpers allow for some customization of the board. One can be set to ‘in’ or ‘out,’ and the other to ‘J32’ or ‘J33.’
The DS3800NMEC1D1B is built with both carbon composite and metal film resistors. Capacitors may be fixed vacuum, polyester film, ceramic, or other material.
The DS3800NMEC1D1B has many circuits, including Quad 741 Op Amplifiers designed with minimal thermal coupling, quad voltage comparators with four single or dual supply voltage comparators on a single monolithic substrate, and triple 3-input positive-NAND gates.
All technical support for the DS3800NMEC1D1B including all publications like manuals and datasheets was provided originally by GE. Mark IV products are no longer supported by the original equipment manufacturer, but AX Control can keep your older Speedtronic systems going through our sales, service, and exchange programs.
