About the DS3800NOTA
The DS3800NOTA is a PCB from GE for the Mark IV gas/steam management system. The Mark IV is built on a framework of integrated microcomputers that work together to protect the turbine from issues like high pressure, vibration, and fire. The MKIV has an improved operator interface and more application flexibility when compared to earlier Speedtronic systems.
The DS3800NOTA is lettered and numbered on two edges for alignment purposes. It is factory drilled at all four corners.
The DS3800NOTA is built with a six-screw terminal strip placed along one edge. Terminal strips allow the user to connect more than one circuit together, using the screw-type electrical connectors to clamp down wires to the metal bus-bar power distribution strip. This is placed next to a line of TP test points and a vertical pin mating connector.
The DS3800NOTA has sixteen trim potentiometers. It is built with nineteen circuits. It has two Augat connectors located on its surface. The board is populated with a number of polyester vinyl capacitors as well as capacitors of other material. The board has both ceramic-covered metal film resistors and carbon composite resistors. All components have been marked.
The DS3800NOTA will be shipped from the warehouse here at AX Control to your facility protected by a static reducing covering or sleeve. We suggest reviewing any OEM paperwork such as data sheets and manuals for safety procedures and instructions before beginning installation. All technical support for the DS3800NOTA was provided by GE.
