DS3800NPCT Field Power Circuit Card
The DS3800NPCT is a Mark IV board component manufactured for use within GE’s Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management system. The Mark IV was the first of the Speedtronic line to offer triple modular redundant control with fault-tolerant voting. MKIV products can be purchased from AX Control as fully tested, reconditioned units, or unused products from liquidated surplus stock.
The DS3800NPCT functions as a Field Power board. Unlike most boards within the Mark IV system, this is not a rectangular board. The DS3800NPCT is a small board shaped like a lower-case b. The base portion of the board has two lines of drill holes made from its top to bottom edge. These run parallel to each other, are individually labeled and are typically ringed with a conductive material. In all, there are fifteen holes within the board’s surface. The leading edge of the board has two slots cut into it as well, one straight and one slanting. Board components are limited to jumper switches, jumper wires, and a few instances of surface wiring from board point to board point. These are also individually labeled.
